What is a Mystery?

Webster Dictionary defines a Mystery as "a Divine secret, something unexplained, unknown or kept secret; doctrines known only to a small esoteric group; any religious truth known to man only through divine revelation."

Ancient Mysteries were kept secret because they had great power; the power to inform, to enlighten, and to lift human beings into a higher octave of personal awareness.

Knowing this, traditional authorities were often not too keen on sharing these secrets because they were afraid of losing their own base of power. After all, if everyone became enlightened, then human beings might be able to think for themselves. This could mean social transformation, an end to exploitation, war and conflict, and this was bad for business.

Thus for hundreds of years, many of the deepest and most profound Mysteries of the Ages have been systematically destroyed, stolen and coveted, even concealed and peverted into half truths to confuse those who would like to know, but do not know how to begin their journey.

However today as a planet we are entering into a new era where more and more people want to know the Truth. And because of a more universal consciousness, and the freedom of the internet, as well as free speech and free press, many of these secrets are at last being told.

What are the secrets about? Well, they are about many things, including the Age old questions:

"Who am I? Why am I here? Who made me? Who made the Universe? What is the cosmic plan for human beings and for all other sentient life forms? How do we fit into this world in a better and more productive, uplifting way? And together, how can we make our world a better place?"

Robert MaCoy, a 33rd Degree Mason once wrote:

"Throughout time the Mystery Schools chief objective
Was to teach the doctrine of one God ,
The resurrection of man to eternal life,
The dignity of the human soul,
And to lead the people to see the shadow of the Deity
in the beauty, magnificence and spendor of the Universe."

So at their heart, the spiritual Mysteries teach us about our own eternal natures. But there are many other types of Mysteries. For example ....

Mysteries
Can also be about other things as well.
These are only some of the Mysteries that I speak about:

  • EARTH CHANGES
  • THE MAYAN CALENDAR
  • UFO'S
  • HAUNTED HOUSES
  • EGYPTIAN MYSTERIES
  • SACRED PLACES
  • OUT OF BODY TRAVEL
  • NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES
  • SPIRIT GUIDES
  • STONEHENGE
  • STARGATES
  • ATLANTIS AND LEMURIA
  • GODS AND GODDESSES
  • REINCARNATION
  • THE DIVINE FEMININE
  • JESUS AND HIS SECRET TEACHINGS
  • THE CHANGE OF THE AGES
  • THE DA VINCI CODE
  • VISITING ALIENS

  • LEY LINES
  • TELEPATHY
  • HEALING
  • NOSTRADAMUS
  • PROPHECY
  • ANGELS
  • THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS
  • AND THE LIST GOES ON....

These are some of the riddles that I like to solve. While each of us must ultimately find the answers deep inside of us for at least some of these questions, the process that the Greeks called gnosis, or going within is part of the process of discovery.

Still there is a breadcrumb trail of philosophers, mathematicians, visionaries and mystics going back through time who have given us their insights on these questions.

Among them are Plato, Pythagoras, Lao Tsu, Jesus, Buddha, Blavatsky, Steiner, Swendenborg, and Zoroaster. But these are only the best known.

Many other teachers of wisdom have passed through our world and even though their teachings are not in libraries, yet their names remain with us as legends: Thoth/Hermes, the Comte de St. Germain, Hypatia, Merlin, Isis, Arthur, Simon Magus, Serapis, Enoch, Quetzalcoatl, and Hiawatha, to name but a few.

In earlier times, small communities who understood the deeper meanings behind the visible world, sought to spread this knowledge through Mystery Schools.

Using both direct experiences and teaching, they sought to integrate all life streams of wisdom into one and lead the pilgrim back to the One Great Source of Life. For in truth, all tributaries and rivers are connected to the Great Ocean of Oneness, celebrated in many different ways.

This is what we hope to do in our Mystery School: The Phoenix Fire Lodge and our Speaking Engagements, our Books, CD's and DVD's. We hope we can be an inspiration for you to find your own answers and your own way.

So What Is A Mystery?

It is the discovery of the larger Self through understanding, personal experience, personal revelation, and reading between the lines of traditional history to connect the dots.

This includes the study of everything from human emotion to personal relationships, God to nature, physics to astronomy, DNA to healing.

It includes the secrets of geo-magnetic sciences used at one time to lay out the grid of pryamids on our planet, and to plot the celestial Precession of the Equinoxes that regulates the Cycles of Time and human evolution.

It includes You and it includes Me. In includes God with a "big G," and the gods (and goddesses) with a little "g."

And remember that you are the ultimate source of understanding all that is inside of you and outside, for as Christ told us,

"The Kingdom of Heaven lies within."
