Our Mystery School is Offered in Two Forms:
A Sacred Circle and an On-Line School

A Bit of History

For thousands of years the knowledge of Sophia or wisdom was passed down through the medium of the Great Mystery Schools of the Ancients.

Some of the most famous schools are the Eleusinian Mystery Schools of Ephesus, the Pythagorean School in Crotona, Italy, the Hermetic lineage of ancient Heliopolis in Egypt, the Gnostic Mysteries of the earliest Christians, and the excellent Druidic Schools of the Celtic Isles that boasted over 60 Universities and 60,000 students at the time of Jesus, many students being sent from the finest families across Europe and the Roman Empire.

We must also include the ancient Persian Myseries of Mithra and Zoroaster; the Chresus religion of Serapis in Egypt from which Christianity in large part sprang; the adoration of Isis, the Divine Mother which spread across the world; the cults of Abraxas, Odin, Dionysis and Bacchus, as well as the original Mystery dramas of Isis and Osiris, from which many of the others sacred paths of the past are drawn.

The Phoenix Fire Mystery School: The Order of the Eagle and the Dove, is a School that honors both the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine, as well as the energies of the Great Solar Lords, and the daughter principle known as the Shekina. Our mission to remind others of their own soul's gnosis, or inner knowing, and bring the path of enlightenment a little closer.

We subscribe to the wisdom of the "Middle Path" taught by Jesus, Buddha, and the great master Thoth, knowing that it is only by walking this "Ancient Road" that we may achieve the inner balance and become truly enlightened human beings, or Homo Luminious, as we were intended.

LEVEL ONE:
THE ORDER OF THE DOVE:
AWAKENING THE GODDESS

The Phoenix Fire Lodge has three levels of Initiation, and they are offered in two formats: an On Line Program only now being created to meet the requests of so many, or in Sacred Circle taught here in Atlanta over the course of an entire year. New Circles usually start in the Spring, with dates roughly 6 weeks apart. The dates are decided by the group during the meeting of the first weekend class.

If you can travel to Atlanta, then you will greatly benefit by participating in the school in person, for there are many Mystery Dramas and personal experiences that are able to be transmitted in person, that simply cannot translate with only the written world.

The structure of the personal Sacred Circle is a nine-weekend course spread out over the duration of one year. This FIRST LEVEL introduces you to the power and Mysteries of the Divine Feminine. Each person goes through a life changing initation at the first weekend event, and throughout the year we begin to work with the archetypal divinities in their various incarnations. This includes activating your own inner abilities as a healer, a knower, or a seer, activating your altar, and building an inner Temple of communion.

These nine weekends also concentrate on learning the Directions of Space and Time, the Power of Ceremony and Ritual, the Casting of the Medicine Circle, and the Wisdom of the Sacred Hoops. These Hoops include the labyrinth, the circle, the Flower of Life, as well as the extraordinary teaching Wheels of the Native American Twisted Hair tradition.

LEVEL ONE includes the Medicine Wheels of the Animals, the Minerals, the Plants and Humans, as well as the 12 Extraterrestrial Races that seeded Earth long ago, explaining our place in the pattern of life.

Five of the nine "Human" weekends concentrate on the discovery of the Divine Feminine, an introduction of Thoth, Horus and Isis, and the beginnings of Hermetic Law. One weekend is dedicated to Awakening Your Healing Power Within, and one to the Five Elements and the Celestial Wheels of Time.

During the weekend of the Human Wheels, we learn about and discover our connection to the 12 Archetypes that each of us experience as we move through life.

At the end of the Lesser Mysteries of the First Year, one becomes an Initiate of three or four divinities. At the end of the Second Year, one becomes a Priest or a Priestess.

These magical weekends take place in settings that allow both an indoor and outdoor environment, where we can connect with the Divine beneath the stars, outside in the forest or near a lake, and by using a Medicine Wheel for ceremony. On colder weekends we are inside of an indoor medicine lodge or a workshop center.

LEVEL TWO:
THE ORDER OF THE EAGLE:
THE EGYPTIAN MYSTERIES

LEVEL TWO is a one year Nine-weekend process specifically dedicated to the wisdom of the ancient Egyptian traditions. Each weekend is dedicated to one Initiation with a particular set of the gods and goddesses. At the end of the Second Level you are initiated as a priest or priestess and may choose three or four divinities to add to your personal wheel.

These Divinities include:

  • An Egyptian Overview
  • Thoth
  • Hathor
  • Anubis
  • Nephthys
  • Osiris
  • Isis
  • Horus
  • Nuit
  • The nineth weekend is dedicated to Amon/Ra, the Unknowable Mystery and the Sun of God

LEVEL THREE:
THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX:
NEFERTEM - AWAKENING THE DIVINE LOTUS

The focus of this third tier of Initiation is the learning of Hermetics, sacred language, healing, sound, stillness, breathwork and magic. The format is again Nine Weekends over the course of a year.
