Over the years we have taken groups of spiritiual seekers over a dozen times to this amazing community, with trips lasting usually 7 to 10 days in length. And since 2005 we have also brought their wonderful teachers to Atlanta and facilitated a series of on-going workshops. Two years later the opportunity came to visit. I had been teaching in England during the solar eclipse of 1999, and on an impulse, I booked my flight to Turin, the alchemical “City of Magic” which houses the shroud of Turin. My initial visit was only three days long; hardly enough time to even understand what I was seeing, but it whet my appetite for more. This was to be the beginning of eight wonderful years of taking groups there. During my first visit, my conscious mind stove to get below the surface of what was being said by their teachers. I found myself in nightly journeys beneath the Earth, taken into the vast subterranean caves that lay beneath that mountain range. I knew that somehow this place had been built like an opening into the Hall of Records that stretched from ancient Atlantis into the Earth’s future. I could feel that Damanhur had to do with the goddess, with the ancient, peaceful core of the Mother who is the living expression of the planet we live on.
Over the past eight years I have journeyed there more than a dozen times, taking groups of spiritual pilgrims with me. Each time I design a unique program out of the many classes that Damanhur has to offer: Astral Travel, Dreaming, Past Lives, Personalities, Sculpture, Communicating with the Plants, Developing your Inner Senses, Journey to Atlantis and Selfic Healing. Many people from all around the world have been pulled to Damanhur, perhaps because of their own soul lineage. Currently there are about a thousand Damanhurians living scattered throughout the valleys surrounding Damanhur, who are schooled in everything from physics to art, languages to crop rotation. They have created a unique blend of practical and esoteric knowledge that feels like an Egyptian Mystery School.
Damanhur itself was founded by a man named Falco (and twelve others) who had come from 600 years in our future to change the fate of planet Earth. In his timeline, Earth eventually becomes destroyed by nuclear weapons, ecological toxicity and wide spread planetary pollution. Working with physical people who visit from other worlds, they have been working to change the timelines of our future. One of their early experiments was to travel backwards to Egypt with a five member team. With them they had taken the latitude and longitude coordinates of a temple they wished to be built according to specific blueprints. While the pharaoh was not surprised to see them, he was initially very resistant to accommodating their wishes. Egyptian resources were needed for other things. But eventually he agreed, and six weeks after they returned to our present time, this very temple was uncovered in the Sahara desert. From this one experiment, they knew that their actions could directly affect the outcome of world events. Realizing this, they have implemented other programs which have helped to mitigate the prophecies of Nostradamus that we would enter WWIII in 1986. That conflict, as many of us know, was prophesied to last for about 26 years, ending in the year 2012, and because of the active work of light workers around the world, and Damanhur, that future has so far been avoided. The Temple itself is built inside of a mountain made of a strange mineral called millenite. In geological terms, millenite is found about 38 miles underground, but because of the unusual plate tectonics of the European and African shelves, it has been pushed to the surface at exactly that point, acting as an electro-magnetic conductor into other dimensional realities. During my first visit I had time travel flashes, lucid dreams and a glimpse into the spiritual physics that Damanhur teaches, concepts that are clearly unique to them, but have an overlap in the realms of current science, and mystical revelation. I knew that if I was going to peer behind the veils of Damanhur’s mystique, I would have to return. 
With each successive visit, the mysteries of who they were and what they are really doing there deepened. Eventually, I realized that these people are the ancient initiates of Atlantis and Egypt who had come together to change the timeline of the human race. Consummate time travelers, they have been exploring the history of the human race for a long, long time. For over 27 of our years, members of their community have traveled back into our past, working to change our future as it unfolds.
